President John Dramani Mahama has taken his #ResettingGhanaTour to the Upper West Region as part of efforts to engage citizens and advance his government’s national reset agenda.
The President begins his tour today and is expected to spend September 11 and 12, 2026, in the region, where he will interact with residents and stakeholders on issues affecting the region and the country at large.
The two-day tour forms part of President Mahama’s broader nationwide engagement aimed at connecting directly with citizens and communicating his government’s vision and development priorities.
According to the Presidency, the Upper West leg of the tour will provide an opportunity for the President to engage citizens while driving the national reset agenda.
The #ResettingGhanaTour comes as the Mahama administration continues to highlight its efforts to address economic, social and developmental challenges facing the country.
During his engagements in the Upper West Region, the President is expected to meet with various stakeholders and citizens as part of the government’s efforts to deepen public participation in the country’s development process.
The Presidency has described the tour as a platform for direct engagement with Ghanaians as the government works towards its vision of resetting the country.
