The Incumbent Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsin Constituency in the Western Region, Joseph Mensah, has picked nomination forms to contest the NPP parliamentary primaries.
Mr. Mensah picked the forms last Saturday February 1, 2020 in the company of some delegates and party supporters who have endorsed his candidature for an “unprecedented performance over the last three years.”
The MP in an interview expressed appreciation to the entire members, and the constituents for giving him the mandate to serve them.
He was also grateful for the easy access to the nomination forms, unlike the last four years when he was confronted with challenges in picking forms after he had declared his intention to contest the primaries.
To this end, Mr. Mensah implored the constituency executives to ensure that the party office is open to enable anyone who has the ambition to contest the primaries without any difficulty.
He added that nobody should sabotage any party member with the intention to contest the primaries, but welcome and embrace them to consolidate and sustain the peace and unity they are enjoying in the party.
Mr. Joseph Mensah recounted some unprecedented record of developments he has executed within the constituency during the three years as an MP.
He mentioned construction of CHP Compound at Assakae, renovation of Apremdo Catholic School, refurbishment of CHP Compound at Anaji, construction of Apremdo and Kwesimintsin Durbar grounds, construction and upgrading of roads within the constituency distribution of metallic dual desk, tricycles, sewing machines, hair dryers, math sets for JHS final year students among many other projects as infrastructural development projects he has executed since he was voted as MP for the area.
The Constituency Chairman of Kwesimintsin, Samuel Kingsley Kwaw, also in an interview, warned the party members to be decorous in their campaigns, adding that anyone who insults and attacks aspirants would be dragged to the disciplinary committee for sanction.
