Atinka Media Village's Saddick Adams the "Sports Obama, has been adjudged the best Sports Journalist of the year at the 23rd Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Awards.
The 23rd GJA awards, which was held at the Gold Coast City, Kempinski Hotel was under the theme, “State of Investigative Journalism, Boundaries of Privacy and Borders of Public Interest”.
Saddick Adams is the Head of Atinka Sports Department and the host of Atinka FM’s Total Sports. He is also the Host of “Sports Court” on Atinka TV.
Saddick Adams, has distinguished himself in the media and it is not surprising that he is the best Sports Journalist of the year.
Earlier this year, Saddick Adams made it onto the 2018 Avance Media Africa top 50 Ghanaian Journalists list.
President for the GJA, Mr. Affail Monney, who delivered a speech at the event stated that, it is only fair and morally justified that Journalists who excel in their respective fields are rewarded not only by their employers but more importantly corporate Ghana as well as the consumers of media content.
Mr. Monney expressed the GJA's gratitude to organizations and individuals for their continuous support towards the GJA awards and called on other benevolent persons to come onboard.
