The contestants of Atinka Radio Icon are enthusiastic about the competition’s first performance, which will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023.
They are also optimistic that after the entire programme, their dreams of becoming radio and even TV personalities will be realised.
At a studio session prior to the event with Abena Dufie on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie on Thursday, June 8, 2023, a group of them showcased their raw talents that they want to project on Atinka radio icon.
While some read news, others did commentary, DJing while the potential morning show hosts also showcased how they intend to do it.
It was their hope that their talents will be harnessed during the programme.
Atinka Radio Icon was launched on May 28, 2023 at the Grand Finale of Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance at the National theatre.

Over 60 contestants were officially presented to the public at the launch.
For 13 weeks, they are expected to showcase their talents including news reading or presenting, news reporting, DJing amongst others.
They will be hosted every Friday on Atinka Drive by Roman Fada.
They could not hide their excitement over the show as most of them believe it is a great opportunity that will change their lives and their story.
While some were very thankful to Atinka Media Village for giving them the opportunity to shine, they also promised to give a good show to the public.
