News Editor at Atinka Media Village (AMV), operators of Atinka TV, Atinka 104.7 FM, Atinkaonline.com, Agyenkwa 101.9 FM and Ahoto 102.3 FM, Ms Regina Asamoah has been adjudged best worker of the year 2020.
She received the recognition on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the annual thanksgiving service held by the Tobinco Group of Companies of which the AMV is a subsidiary.
Regina Asamoah emerged Best Worker of the AMV for her trenmendous work and her dedication to the work throughout the years.
She was given a citation, a hamper and an undisclosed amount of money to appreciate her contribution to the growth of the company.
Although she has received recognitions from prestigious organisations over the years, 2020 has seen her being honoured continuously for her commitment towards her job as a journalist.
Ms Regina Asamoah was named the Female Journalist of the Year 2019 at the 25th Ghana Journalists Association(GJA) awards.
She also received a special award for COVID-19 coverage with her most watched documentary, “COVID-19 and the Aged”.
Ms Regina Asamoah again was given a special recognition by Plan International Ghana for her excellent reporting on girls issues.
