The Minister of Planning and Development, Prof George Yaw Gyan Baffour is urging the leadership of the various political parties to ensure there is no violence as the country heads towards the December 7 polls.
According to him, violence can have negative impact on humanity and development and therefore needs to be eschewed.
Addressing the media after filing his forms at the Electoral Commission office in Wenchi constituency, Prof George Gyan Baffour noted his desire to serve the people in Wenchi constituency at the highest level.
He urged Ghanaians especially the youth to comport themselves before, during and after the Elections.
He also urged all the political parties to desist from attacks on personalities and focus on relevant issues affecting the life of Ghanaians.
“The election campaign should be opportunity to debate issues and perspectives instead of trading words,” he added.
