A Kansas woman won a $20,000 lottery prize from a ticket she received for free as a birthday gift from her office.
Marsha Silver, of McPherson, told Kansas Lottery officials she received a pair of $2 Double Bonus Crossword scratch-off tickets in a birthday card from coworkers at her realty office. Advertisement
“Jeannie, my coworker, and I both had birthdays last week and got two Crossword tickets in our cards,” Silver shared. “She had scratched hers and asked me if I won anything and that’s when I showed her the ticket and told her I had to go to Topeka!”
Silver said she thought at the time that she had won $2,000, but after showing the ticket to her husband, he pointed out that she had missed seeing a letter.
“He told me I missed an ‘L,’ which brought me up to 10 words for the $20,000! I couldn’t believe it; I was just happy with what I thought was $2,000,” she said.
Silver said she plans to use some of her winnings to throw an office party for her coworkers and will spend the rest on her family.

Relationship coach, Counselor Charlotte Oduro has asserted that what gives men wisdom and drive them to work and make money is sex.
According to her, “If he gets sex, he is able to work well and make money.”
The Counselor made the assertion on Atinka FM’s morning show, AM Drive while discussing relationship issues and the recent killings between spouses.
When asked if it is right for women to deny their husbands sex due to poverty or lack of financial security in the marriage, she said women should rather be supportive and not focus on just money in marriages
“Women should not focus on the money the men do not have. The man does not have money, he is already hot. What will make him relax is a woman who has sense and patience and encourages him that things will not be the same till end.”
She continued that,” Women should know that it is not every day that the man will get money, it is not everything you want that you will get. Let us stand as women, what are you also doing to help the man?”
Counselor Charlotte Oduro stressed that,”If the man is hardworking and forceful but because of something, things are not going on well, you need to support him as a woman, encourage him because that will make him bounce back.
