Coronavirus: Ghana procures extra 50,000 test kits

The  President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that government has procured 50,000 more coronavirus test kits which is expected to arrive in the country soon.
Aside that, he said government will re-engage retired health workers to augment the work of health professionals in order to fight coronavirus in the country.
He made the statement while updating the public for the third time on coronavirus on Saturday evening, March 21st 2020.
He assured Ghanaians that while the Ministry of Health is still doing contact tracing, the government has also procured more protective equipment which will help fight the disease.
He urged Ghanaians to adhere to the precautionary measures, assuring the public of his determination to do whatever it takes to fight the disease in the country.
He was also hopeful that the coronavirus outbreak will soon end.
Meanwhile, so far, 21 cases have been confirmed positive while one out of the 21 has died.
