An Accra Circuit Court has ordered the police to release Shatta Wale’s mobile phones to him.
There was an argument over whether police investigators could continue to keep mobile phones belonging Shatta Wale and his three boys for investigations.
Lead counsel for Shatta Wale, Eric Avenorgbo told the court that the continuous seizure of the mobile phones belonging to his clients constitute breach of privacy since all evidence needed by the police especially on the issue of publication of false news are already evident on Shatta Wale’s social media handles.
The Accra circuit court four (4) presided over by Emmanuel Essandor upheld the argument and subsequently ordered police prosecutors to release the mobile phones to Shatta Wale and the three others.

The case has thus been adjourned to December 7.
The case involving rapper medikal was not called in court today, but it was adjourned to same date as that of Shatta wale.

Organizers of the biggest African Film and Festival Awards, ZAAFA Global Awards have invited the astute Ghanaian movie producer Mr Charles Boateng to take part in this year’s event.

According to the President of the ZAAFA Awards, Mr Prince Sam Anwuzia, there will also be a film workshop to be held at the new Nollywood Entertainment Studios in South East of London as part of the festival.
