COVID 19: 13 more deaths recorded

Ghana has recorded 13 more deaths caused by the Coronavirus disease.

This has brought the total number of death to 333 out of the 53,954 confirmed cases.

Addressing the Nation after the election, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said daily infection rate remains stable inspite of the campaigns and election.

He assured the public that Ghana is not going to be left behind in having access to vaccine for COVID-19.

He also stated that he will ensure that whatever vaccine is brought to Ghana is authentic and safe for consumption.

President Akufo-Addo who noted that there will be a lot of church activities, events during the Christmas urged all to observe the safety protocols no matter where they find ourselves.

He said although church activities are allowed, the people should ensure they are safe and adhering to the safety protocols.

He also said pubs, clubs remain closed, urging event organisers to ensure social distancing at all programmes.
