Covid-19: Akufo-Addo to address nation on Sunday night

President Nana Akufo-Addo will address Ghanaians  on Sunday night on his next line of action in the fight against the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The lockdown  directive  announced by the president two weeks ago, expires on Monday dawn and the president is expected to use the Sunday address to extend the restrictions  following the increase in Ghana’s case count, which is now 834 after over 60,000 tests.
According to our sources, the president held a marathon meeting with members of the national Covid-19 response team on Saturday at the Jubilee House to determine the way forward. This meeting, according to our sources, delayed the original broadcast scheduled for Saturday at 9 pm.
