Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum & Prof. Opoku-Amankwa monitor Teacher License Exams

Hon Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Deputy Minister of Education and the Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa monitored the October 2020 National Teaching Council (NTC) teacher licensure examination at Accra College of Education (ATTRACO).

The examination which was originally scheduled for 24th and 25th September had to be postponed to make way for the continuing students of the Colleges of Education to have access to the examination centres for their end of academic examinations.

The centres for the license examination were the various Colleges of Education across the country.

The examination centres were generally calm and quiet as teachers and invigilators conducted themselves within the confines of ethnics of examinations.

The license examination is meant for graduates who have read Education as a diploma or first degree or as Post Graduate Diploma of Education (PGDE) and wishes to be recruited by GES as a licensed teacher.

In all, 31,167 teachers wrote the examinations in 49 examination centres through out the 16 Regions.
