Emmanuella Akweley Martey emerged winner of Atinka TV’s Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance held at the National Theatre on Sunday.
At the end of three stages of great performances, Green Stars were named 1st runner-ups while Victoria Adjetey was second runner-up.
Promise Maame Yeboah took the 4th place while Aaron Adonteng came Fifth.
The winners were chosen based on votes and marks by the judges.
The winner of the first edition of the competition, Akweley Martey received a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials including school bags and products from the sponsors of the show.
The first runner-up had GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up received GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.
In addition to the above, several consolation prizes were given to all 30 contestants.
As early as 1p.m, the National theatre was full beyond it’s maximum capacity.
The contestants gave a good show from performances to costume and props.
DJ Azonto, Nii Funny and other performers gave the audience a great show.
Past Di Asa Queens also shook the National theatre with a great performance.
Aside from that, the Atinka Radio Icons was launched at the event.
Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.
The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.
66 Children, both groups and individuals entered the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance competition.
30 finalists, including Victoria Adjetey #1, Emmanuella Akweley Martey #65, Diamond Akakpo #3, Jacline Ofori #63, Priscilla Asante #23, Green Stars #54, Nana Akwesi Asamoah #5, Emmanuella Adom Nkiboare #64, Chanelle Duah #10, and Ishmaellah Midodzie #40 entered the Grand Finale.
Others were Nicholina Joella Tanoh #12, Chosen Queens #31, Gabriel Ahiagbe #37, Daniella Twum #32, Darius Quartey #11, Ursula Appietu #41, Kelvin Opoku (Star Boy) #44, Angela Lotsa #22, Blessing Annah #2, Kusi Amponsah #24 and I Am Azonto #34.
The rest were Promise Asare Maame Yeboah #27, Richmond Azumah #26, Joucelyn Mawuena #39, Pinky Dancers 355, Ruby Addo #4, Isaac Appiah Kubi #62, Mujahid Abdulaziz #28, Aaron Adonteng #49, Abena Nhyira #19 and Richmond Azumah #26.
Aside monies given to the winners, all 30 contestants received cash prizes.
Meanwhile, the first five will enjoy free medical care from the Entrance University Hospital for a period of time.
For the Winners, they will be ambassadors of the programme for the show and more.
