Emotion is the Power Behind My Music – Worlasi

Worlasi

Ghnaian Musical Artist, Worlasi, says emotion plays a major role in the creation of his music, explaining that he takes time to protect his creative space before recording.

Speaking on Bullet TV’s Vibe Central, he said he wants his music to make people feel something rather than simply sound good.

Worlasi said he pays attention to how an instrumental makes him feel before deciding whether to use it.

“If I hear the instrumental and it’s not moving me in any way, I don’t know what to do with it,” he said.

He explained that sometimes he works with other producers when he believes they can bring the right energy to a song.

According to Worlasi, genuine emotion cannot be easily replaced or recreated.

He cited legendary musician Bob Marley as an example of an artiste whose emotions can still be felt through his music years after his death.

Worlasi said he therefore takes creativity seriously and prefers to work in a quiet environment where he can concentrate.

He believes music has the power to preserve emotions and allow people to experience them long after the song was created.
