The Member of Parliament for South Dayi in the Volta Region, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, has lashed out at the New Patriotic Party(NPP) and its followers for kicking against the legalization of Okada in the country.
NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has promised to legalize the booming transport business if he wins power again in a bid to reduce unemployment. However, he has come under a barrage of criticisms as opponents point to the carnage Okada riders cause on many of the country’s roads.
Defending the former President in a tweet Sunday, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, described the Okada critics as hypocrites, adding that the current government has seen it fit to legalise marijuana without taking into consideration the number of people being destroyed by the dangerous substance.
