Financial independence: Women advised to learn vocational skills

The National President of Ghana Hairdressers and Beauticians Association, Tina Offei Yirenkyi, has urged the youth, especially girls and women, to take up courses to learn vocational skills.

She listed several skills that every woman should acquire, including hairdressing, makeup, beauty care, and sewing.

By doing this, she holds the belief that individuals who acquire practical skills can start their own businesses and achieve financial independence.

She encouraged the youth to learn skills, stressing that no one will fail if they embark on that journey.

She spoke at the opening of a new branch of S-NASH Beauty Care at Awudome Roundabout.

Many dignitaries and stakeholders in the beauty industry attended the event, inspired by the CEO’s accomplishments and the progress she has made in her career.

The CEO of S-NASH Beauty Care, Sarah Adomako, stated that her company is prepared to train more girls in the field to empower them.

She also recounted her journey in the beauty industry, advising the youth to start doing something profitable for themselves.

Again, she advised the youth to respect their profession and work with due diligence.
