The anti-mining joint task force, Operation Vanguard have arrested four persons for engaging in illegal mining.
The lawbreakers were arrested at Freboye in the Asiwa District of the Ashanti Region on Thursday, 24 May 2018.
The four persons have been identified as Emmanuel Latsu, 23, Dzila Kwesi, 26, Yaw Gyamfi, 32 and Wisdom Gbaffa, 36 years.
The team also immobilized 11 Changfangs, and one carpet.
The suspects were sent to the Asiwa District police station together with the seized items.
