Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has explained why Ghana did not win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Player said the Ghanaian team failed to win the AFCON 2015 due to hard luck and not financial issues.

Agyeman Badu sated that he is optimistic Ghana will win the AFCON soon.

“People talk about Ghana Black Stars that we are money conscious but the truth is that we failed in 2015 because of hard luck,” Agyemang Badu told Seth Dadzie on Atinka FM’s Total Sports Show.

Asked whether or not he has plans to quit football anytime soon, the footballer stated that he will only quit when his body is not responding on the pitch.

He maintained that he is in great shape and can play football perfectly.

“I think I will only quit playing football when my body stops responding on the pitch. My contract ended about a month ago and I am looking forward to joining a new club this season,” he added.
