Ghana Tourism Authority orders closure of beaches

The Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) has order the closure of beaches in the country with immediate effect till further notice.
The directive is in line with that of the President, Nana Addo Dannkwa Akufo-Addo to suspend all public gatherings to protect citizens against the coronavirus outbreak.
The GTA stated that with support of National Security and the Ghana Police Service, it will begin patrols of the beaches  from Tuesday, March 24TH 2020, to ensure compliance with the closure order.
