GhanaCard: “I can do a better job than Ken Attafuah” – Kofi Akpaloo

Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, Kofi Akpaloo, says the Executive Director of the of National Identification Authority, Prof. Ken Attafuah is doing a poor job with regards to the Ghanacard project.

The LPG flagbearer, Kofi Akpaloo, stated that Prof. Ken Attafuah  does not understand the concept hence the failure of the project under the Kufour administration.

The National Identification Authority (NIA) today on Monday commenced a mass registration of Ghanaians for the Ghana Card nationwide.

The exercise, which started in the Greater Accra Region will end in the Central Region on 31 March 2019.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has agreed that the ECOWAS card be integrated into the Ghana card.

Speaking with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, Kofi Akpaloo stated that he can use just 4 months to restructure and come up with a better Ghanacard project .

“We don’t need a Ghana card, we only need unique ID numbers and home addresses. I don’t want to personalize certain things but the man cannot do the job, he does not understand the job. Kufour gave him the opportunity but he could not utilise it…we don’t need too much money to do this if only we are determined to do this”, he stated.

According to Kofi Akpaloo, he is in a better position to handle the Ghanacard than the current Executive Director of the of National Identification Authority, Prof. Ken Attafuah

“I can use just 4 months to finish the job if I am given the opportunity, this is a permanent project not a temporary one”, he added.
