Ghanaian Hiplife Artiste, Scizo dies in US

Ghanaian US-based Hiplife veteran, ‘Unko Scizo‘, whose real name is Joseph Kwame Sogli has been reported dead in his US home.

This was after he took ill for a short time.

Reports of his death broke on Wednesday, January, 5, 2022.

Scizo is known for releasing a song titled “Make it or break it” to motivate stranded Menzgold customers amidst the Menzgold saga.

The artiste through his music sent a message of hope to the customers of Menzgold.

He also known for his ‘1 Stone’ track, ‘Keshi Kale’ which got a lot asking for more of his songs.

The ‘Make Me Feel You’ hit maker released an album in 2019 titled Highsolation, Vol. 1.The album was a combination of Reggae, Dancehall and Afropop.

The songs on the album included Grace, Make It or Break It, Rare Girl, Paddy Pa, Zoblazo.

Scizo had his basic education at St. Paul’s School at La before moving to St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School.

He also took a couple of professional courses including lessons in sound engineering.

It is unclear what caused his death, but his family is yet to make an official statement concerning his death.

He was married and lived in Las Vegas Nevada with his white wife, known as Judy in the USA.

Racheal Anny, with stage name Anny, has emerged winner of Atinka TV’s Flagship reality show, GTBank Di Asa Season Five.

This was after doing a traditional dance, free style with hiplife, highlife and climaxing the competition with a secret dance where the DJ chose random songs for them to dance with.

Anny surpassed all 19 competitors who entered the grand finale on the night to emerge winner with her body size, her dance moves, audience appeal, judges’ votes and most importantly public votes.

At the end of the show, Kumasa Dora, known as
DK, secured the second position.
