Legon students chase Shatta Wale off stage; prefers live band and not lip-syncing

Students of the University of Ghana, Legon descended on Shatta Wale on stage for not being able to perform with a live band at the Legon Hall Week Artist night event.

Although Shatta Wale was the main artist of the event, the students were not going to settle for quantity over quality, and therefore demanded that Wale performs with a live band.

On the other hand, it seemed the dance-hall musician was not ready and his only option was lip-syncing, a situation that angered the students, calling for his exit off the stage.

Meanwhile, the brawl from the students was due to the fact that they were promised that Wale will do a live band but his performance was other wise.

The musician, on the other hand, walked off peacefully when the students protested against his lip-syncing performance, indicating that indeed, he (Shatta) was not ready to change.
