Mahama pledges to rationalize Port Fees

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to rationalize the fees charged at ports if elected into office.

He also announced plans to implement measures aimed at addressing the depreciation of the Cedi against the Dollar. These commitments were made during the launch of the NDC manifesto on Saturday, August 24, in Winneba.

“We will rationalize port fees and charges, and introduce measures to stabilize the cedi and the macroeconomic environment,” Mahama emphasized.

In addition, he promised to reinstate the licenses of banks that were unjustly revoked during the financial sector cleanup.
