Missing Children: Tobinco donates to orphanage

The Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I has donated items and cash worth GHC10,000 to the Save Them Young Orphanage.

The items presented include 10 bags of 25kg Rice, 12 big size of Tin Tomatoes, 5 cartons of Milk, 5 Gallons of Oil, 1 big bag of sugar, 10 Olonka of beans, 1 big bag of maize (70 olonka), 50 tubers of Yam, Painting of Boys and Girls dormitory
and a cash amount of GhC4,500.

The items were presented to the orphanage for helping to reunite some missing children with their families.

It was also in fulfillment of a promise by the Executive Chairman that any orphanage home that allows Atinka TV access to their homes to help reunite missing children will be duly supported.

Out of the 52 missing children reunited in the season one of Atinka TV’s documentary, ‘Missing Children’, 29 were from Save Them Young Orphanage.

The items were presented by the Deputy Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, Mr Kingsley Kwame Nsiah-Poku and Atinka TV’s News Editor, Ms Regina Asamoah.

Mr Kingsley Kwame Nsiah-Poku thanked the orphanage for their support in caring for missing and abandoned children.

The Administrator in Charge of Reintegration at the Orphanage, Mr. Addofoh Dwamena- Oboankoma, who received the items, thanked Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I for his kind gesture towards the children.
