The NDC’s Deputy National Communications Officer, Godwin Aku Gunn, has claimed that, his party will win nine constituencies in the Ashanti Region come December 7 election.
Speaking to Nana Owusu Nkrumah on Ghana Nie, Atinka TV’s morning show, Ako Gunn expressed optimism that the NDC will win the following constituencies: New Edubiase, Adanse Asokwa, Dominase, Asawase, Fomena and some other constituencies.
“We were expecting to win the Fomena seat in 2016, but unfortunately due to what happened in the elections, we lost It” he said.
Still expressing his optimism, Ako Gunn said the NDC will also win 50% parliamentary seats in the Eastern Region in the 2020 elections. He mentioned Nsawam, Suhum, Asuogyaman, Afram Plains as some of the constituencies the NDC will snatch from the NPP. “I know we are going to win this year’s election, and we are going to win big!” he stressed.
