NDC’s Akamba chastises Kumah’s widow for granting interviews

Joshua Hamidu Akamba, former National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed disappointment in the widow of deceased Deputy Finance Minister for granting interviews few days after her demise.

Multiple sources state that Mr. Kumah passed away in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, in Ghana.

Unofficial reports suggest that the NPP stalwart was poisoned.

A video which suggested that Prophet Nigel had prophesized the death of the late MP also went viral on social media just after reports of the MP’s death.

Wife of the late MP, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah has since granted an interview with Accra based Asaase FM to debunk some false reports surrounding the death of her husband.

According to her, Prophet Nigel Gaisie knew that John Kumah was terminally ill because he was close to their family and that informed his 31 December 2023 prophesy night that a deputy minister in Ghana was going to die in 2024,

Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah said the prophet used the facts about the health of the late deputy finance minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu constituency for the prophecy.

Reacting to the development on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Nana Fianko, the former National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba said he is disappointed in the widow of John Kumah over her inability to keep quiet and mourn.

“I am disappointed because she has made the sympathy I had for my brother Kumah has all vanished because I though she will stay at home and see how best we can come and visit her.  His family is talking, his brother is talking, his sister is talking everyone is talking. Is it that you know something about it and you didn’t want to talk? Is it that you want to be a Parliamentary candidate and succeed your husband and so you want to start talking now and defending the party? ”, Akamba added.
