NIA postpones commencement of card issuance

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has postponed the issuance of the printed Ghana Cards to Wednesday, June 10.
The exercise was initially scheduled to commence today, Monday 8th June 2020.
A statement released by the Authority explained that the rescheduling has been necessitated by the need to complete the distribution of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to registration centres.
The NIA is set to issue 3,875,441 printed cards to Ghana Card applicants at some 5,635 registration centres in Ghana.
