The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced the successful payment of February 2026 allowances to National Service Personnel (NSP) across the country, bringing relief to thousands of service members who had been awaiting disbursement.
In a press release issued on April 13, 2026, the Authority confirmed that payments were completed on the same day, assuring personnel and the general public of its continued commitment to timely allowance distribution.

The NSA indicated that all eligible service personnel should verify their respective GhanaPay accounts to confirm receipt of the funds.
According to the statement, the payment covers multiple categories of personnel under the 2025/2026 service year. These include general enrollment personnel, nurses continuing their service, and teachers who have completed their national service.
The Authority emphasized that individuals who had previously been flagged due to administrative or payment issues, but whose concerns have since been resolved, have also received their allowances.
The announcement comes after weeks of anticipation among service personnel, many of whom rely heavily on the monthly stipends for their basic needs.
The NSA acknowledged the patience and cooperation demonstrated by personnel during the delay, expressing appreciation for their understanding throughout the process.
Looking ahead, the Authority also provided an update on the March 2026 allowance. It revealed that the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department has assured management that the funds will be released soon.
The NSA pledged to ensure immediate disbursement once the funds are received, in a bid to avoid further delays.
Management reiterated its commitment to improving efficiency in the payment system and maintaining close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to streamline processes.
The Authority noted that addressing systemic challenges remains a priority as it seeks to enhance service delivery.
In closing, the NSA extended its gratitude to all National Service Personnel for their dedication and contributions to national development, reaffirming the critical role they play in supporting public institutions and communities across Ghana.
