The main competition of Atinka TV‘s new reality show, Atinka Kids Dance, has officially been launched at Sika Hall, Atinka Media Village.
The dance reality show, which was launched on Saturday attracted hundreds of people including parents, guardians, and well-wishers. The Sika Hall was packed to the brim.
60 children between the ages of 5 and 10 are taking part in the main competition.
About Atinka Kids Dance
It is a new reality show for children that seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years. It seeks to help children develop their dance talents.
The show will run for 13 weeks (6 freestyles and 6 tasks). It will involve Freestyle, Heritage, Hip-life and many more.
The show will not affect the academic calendar of all the contestants as all live shows will be held on Saturdays in the afternoon.
Content Manager of Atinka Media Village (AMV) Ms. Regina Asamoah, delivering the welcome address, disclosed that the winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.
She added that the first runner-up will receive GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.
Ms. Asamoah also disclosed that several consolation prizes will be awarded along the way.
Tobvital Multivitamin (Drop, Syrup, and Tablets) is the show’s title sponsor.
