Photos: KNUST students hand over furnished ICT lab to Teshie Children's Home

Dream Builders Group, a team of students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) MSc Development Management class has handed over a furnished ICT lab to the Teshie Children’s home .

The ICT lab is fully furnished with computers and accessories, desks and a book shelf. 

As part of the project, the students also planted trees around the Teshie Childrens home to protect the environment.  

Handing over the facility to the management of Teshie Children home, Team Lead, Bright Kotoe,  said the benevolent act mentioned forms part of  a project aimed at promoting the Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG’s) which talks about quality education for all.

He also admonished the students to inculcate the habit of planting trees and taking good care of the environment.  

Acknowledging receipt of the facility,  Board Chairman for Teshie Childrens home, Mr. Alfred Boye expressed the home’s profound gratitude to the team

He assured the team of students that the Teshie Childrens Home will make use of the facility achieves the purpose for which it was established.

He  promised to properly maintain the equipment in the facility and called on other individuals and corporate bodies to emulate the act of the Dream Builders Group.
