Police arrest two robbers in Wa, one other shot dead

The Upper West Regional Police Command have arrested Musdeen Issahaku and one other for robbing.

The armed men also injured their victims.

The two suspects, Musdeen Issahaku and Alhassan Musah were part of a team of four on a robbery attack on Saturday , 13 November 2021 in the Wa West district of the Upper West region.

The two stabbed two of their victims who are currently responding to treatment at the hospital.

Lack , however, evaded one of the suspects, Osman Seidu, as he was shot dead.

The Police has launched a manhunt for the fourth suspect who is on the run.

The Upper West Regional Police Command has since appealed to residents in the Wa West district and its environs to be on the lookout and report any badly wounded person for police action.

The Police also revealed that Suspect Musdeen Issahaku is an ex-convict who is standing trial in another armed robbery case at Wa circuit court where he is on court bail.

The police also lauded residents of Poyentanga and Samanbo for helping the Police in the arrest.
