Commenting on the issue on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Kaakyire Ofori Ayim,  Director of Public Affiars for Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Alexander Obeng noted that the driver erred by displaying such reckless driving skills on a highway.

According to him, the act of the driver has the tendency of causing an accident and that its against the traffic laws in the country.

“ What we should know is that the act was not done by the car, the act was done by a man who is above 18 years and knows the do’s and don’ts on the road. He knew very well what he was doing but I believe it was out of arrogance and a urge to show off,” Superintendent Alexander Obeng told Kaakyire Ofori Ayim.

Superintendent  Alexander Obeng also lauded the general public for taking up the “Community policing” role to assit the Police in fishing out bad nuts in the society.

He called on the general public to desist from shielding offenders and encourage others to be law abiding.
