Pastor who prophesied Shatta Wale’s death granted bail

The Pastor who prophesied the death of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has been granted bail.

The founder and leader of New Life Kingdom Chapel International, Stephen Akwasi otherwise known as Jesus Ahuofe was arrested over comments he made on the life of Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale.

‘Jesus Ahuofe’ earlier stated that he had received a prophecy indicating that Dance Hall artiste Shatta Wale would be shot dead by unknown gunmen on 18th October 2021.

He was arrested while he was waiting to appear on a radio show in Accra.

Meanwhile, Embattled Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale born  Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is still in custody at the Ankaful Prisons.

Shatta Wale was arrested for spreading false information in connection with the alleged gun attack on him.

The police earlier arrested Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee, for also spreading false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.

The arrest of the suspects was in response to the alleged circulation of false claims on the alleged gunshot attack on Shatta Wale.
