Reports reaching Atinkaonline.com indicate that the founder and leader of Resurrection Power New Generation Ministries, Rev Anthony Kwadwo Boakye has passed.

According to a reliable source, Rev. Boakye died at dawn on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, while receiving medical care at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye has been battling sickness for over a year.

After a long absence from church, he reappeared on the screens of his church, preaching and resolving issues that arose between his wife and the church elders.

This was when he regained his health partially after being ill for a long time.

After his return, the Man of God was seen cursing his wife, Reverend Mrs. Anthony Boakye and family for being ungrateful to him.

Earlier, he was heard warning his wife to stay off the church’s offering until the elders could handle it.

“From today, Yaa Asantewaa, don’t go near the money again. It is not you to whom the money is being brought. If you don’t respect your husband, some people respect me. You should have had the decency to ask your brother not to insult me. Even if I haven’t done anything for you, it is my hope that you have a house in your hometown. “I don’t regard you as a pastor anymore.” I will only call you a pastor if my tongue slips. “Everyone should call her Yaa Asantewaa,” Rev. Boakye admonished his church.

It is unclear what really ensued between the Wife and the Elders but it was seen on social media a fight between her and a few of the Church Elders over the church offering.

In a video where he was sharing the pain he went through in the hands of his wife, the Man of God cursed her and her family.

He prayed that whatever happened to him was transferred to his wife and her brother.

“He has insulted me on three occasions, to which I did not respond.” This disease that has afflicted me, I will pass on to you and your children for the rest of your lives. Akwasi, you should take my sickness for the rest of your life. Yaa Asantewaa, take my sickness, you and your children. Have it for the rest of your life. “You are seeking to disgrace me,” Reverend Boakye said while addressing his church members virtually from a remote location.

Even before he was heard, there were rumours that Rev Anthony Kwadwo Boakye had died out of sickness.

But he also came out to declare that he was still alive, thanking and praising God.

Unfortunately, he took ill again but could not make it this time.
