A bag of sachet water is to be sold at ₡3.50p from Monday November 12, 2018, the National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP) has announced.
In a statement signed and issued by Kwame Agyapon Ntra, National Director of Corporate Affairs, the association explained the increment was due to the rising cost of production and distribution.
The ₡3.50p price of the sachet water is the agreed price for sale at depots and from trucks.
According to the statement, the price of iced sachet, however, remains at 0.30p as previously announced by the national body.
The statement added that the price review has been necessitated by the rising cost of production and distribution.
The statement solicited the co-operation of the general public to make the latest increment a success.
