The second set of exclusive performance videos from Afro Nation Portugal 2026 is now available on Spotify.
Filmed live at the festival in Portimão, the videos feature sets from Wizkid, Tyla, Olamide and Young Jonn. Three performances have been released today: Wizkid performing Essence, Olamide performing Wo, and Young Jonn performing Sharpally.
The videos will be available exclusively on Spotify, which is the official streaming partner for this year’s festival.
According to Spotify, the partnership is intended to bring highlights from the event to a global audience.

The release follows previous Spotify projects focused on Afrobeats, including Afrobeats: Journey of a Billion Streams, a site tracking the genre’s growth, and Afrobeats: Culture in Motion in 2025, which included a documentary and events in Lagos.
Afro Nation Portugal took place in Portimão and featured performances from some of the biggest names in Afrobeats.
The genre has seen continued growth in streaming numbers across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa in recent years, with artists such as Wizkid and Tyla charting in multiple countries.
