The Sompahemaa Foundation, led by its CEO, Mrs. Irene Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development by making a significant donation to the people of Berekuso-Akuapem in the Eastern Region.

The foundation donated 50 sewing machines, 50 hair dryers, 10 industrial machines, 5 knitting machines, and 10 steam irons to empower young women and residents in the town.
This initiative aligns with the vision of the Chief of Berekuso, Nana Oteng Korankye II, who has been championing efforts to eradicate poverty in the community.

The donation ceremony was marked by excitement and gratitude as a truck loaded with the items arrived in Berekuso. Residents, especially young women, expressed their joy and hope for a brighter future.
The Chief of Berekuso, Nana Oteng Korankye II, in receiving the items, commended the Sompahemaa Foundation for its impactful gesture, noting that the donation would significantly contribute to the town’s development goals.

The Sompahemaa Foundation has been a trailblazer in promoting social welfare across Ghana. Its initiatives include the Bremang Library and Reading Project, the Sompahemaa Mother’s Day Screening, and the Sompahemaa Father’s Day Medical Outreach, which have impacted communities like Sokoban. The foundation has also made notable donations to Manhyia Local Prison, Nsawam Prison, and other correctional facilities, emphasizing its broad commitment to societal progress.

With this latest gesture in Berekuso, the Sompahemaa Foundation continues to be a beacon of hope and a driving force for change, empowering individuals and fostering community development across the nation.
