Statement: Atinka TV and Atinka FM back on air; all staff safe and sound

Atinka Television and Atinka FM, subsidiaries of Atinka Media Village (AMV), have resumed transmission after a brief interruption due to a fire outbreak.

Earlier today, November 8, 2024, a fire outbreak in one of our under-renovation offices disrupted transmission on both media outlets. Transmission was suspended to ensure the safe evacuation of our staff.

Four employees who suffered minor injuries have been treated and discharged by  Entrance University Hospital at Kokomelmle in Accra.

An investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak.

Management of Atinka Media Village expresses gratitude to the Ghana National Fire Service for swiftly bringing the situation under control.

Atinka Media Village (AMV) appreciates the support and understanding of our audience and clients during this challenging period and reaffirms our dedication to delivering high-quality content.

AMV pledges to consistently deliver news, entertainment, and informative programming to our viewers, listeners, and clients.
