VGMA22: Diana Hamilton wins Artiste of the Year

Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Diana Hamilton has been named Artiste of the Year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA22)

She was in the category with Kidi, Medikal, Kuame Eugene, Adina and Sarkodie.

Diana Hamilton also won the Best Gospel Artiste. She also won the Best Gospel Song with her ‘Adom’ track.

Kuame Eugene had the Best Highlife Artiste award on the night.

He had taken that award for four consecutive times.

Kidi also won four awards at the just ended VGMA’s.

Eno Barony was also named Rapper of the Year.

Yaw Tog won the Hip-pop Song of the Year with ‘Sore’.

Adina on her part won the Best Reggae Dancehall Song with ‘Why’.

Keche had the best Hiplife Song of the Year with No Dulling.

Mr Drew won the Best New Artiste of the Year.

Adina also won Album of the year with ‘Araba’.

Most Popular Song of the Year went to Diana Hamilton’s Adom.

The Vodafone Green Award went to Kofi Kinaata for singing on illegal fishing.
