The Presidential Candidate for opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Maham has says results collated by the party indicates that the NDC has won the election in 10 out 16 regions.
The NDC kingpin has called on party faithfuls to start jubilating.
He also stated that the NDC has won 140 seats out of the 275 across the country.
Addressing the public at a brief press conference, John Mahama said the party is happy with the results see so far and will not accept results that say otherwise.
He alleged that President Nana Addo Dankwa is using the military to suppress NDC supporters across the country, calling on institutions and peace ambassadors to condemn such incidence.
John Mahama urged the people to remain calm and wait for the verdict, adding that the NDC is happy that the Ghanaian people have voted for them.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia, who also spoke at the press conference , said collation is still ongoing at most constituencies and that the party does not believe that any credible election results can be declared before tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
