Kwaku Ayiriba, a 19- year-old deaf person has hanged himself in his farm at Mpasaaso Number 2 in the Ahafo Ano South-West District of the Ashanti Region.
Confirming the incident to the media, mother of the deceased, madam Juliet explained that Kwaku who had successfully invested in a tomato farm on a nearby land only told his father that he was going to work on his tomato farm.
Kwaku didn’t return on time as he used to. This alarmed his family members who proceeded to search for him. He was later found hanging on a cocoa tree in his farm with blood oozing from his mouth.
They later reported the incident to the assembly member and the chief of the town who in turn also informed Mpasaaso police station.
The police together with other townsfolks went to the farm to retrieve the body at around 9:45 pm.
The body has since been conveyed by the Mpasaaso police to the Mankranso government hospital morgue for autopsy and investigation.
