Speaking on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Ama Gyenfa Ofosu Darkwa, Joshua Asamoah cautioned the public to ensure to distill their drains in order to allow free flow of water when it rains.

For those who build in waterways, he urged them to put a stop to it.

He also advised that those who are now building to plant more grass instead of plastering or doing pavement with cement, adding that in times of rains, the grass will help absorb some of the water.

“When you notice it is cloudy or about to rain, seek shelter until the storm passes,” he advised.

Meanwhile, Joshua Asamoah said the rains will continue till November, 2023 especially in the middle belt down to the southern part.

For those in the North, he said the rains will stop by October.
