Kodua Is Far Better Than His Contenders, let’s Retain Him- Habib Iddrisu Tells Delegates.

Member of Parliament for Tolon and Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Hon. Habib Iddrisu, has endorsed the candidature of Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) for the position of General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing him as the candidate best positioned to help rebuild the party ahead of the 2028 elections.
According to Hon. Habib Iddrisu, his assessment is based on his personal working experience with all four aspirants contesting the General Secretary position.
He said Mr. Kodua stands out in terms of leadership experience, humility, accessibility, strategic understanding and knowledge of the NPP.
“I have worked closely with all three other General Secretary aspirants, and I can say this with conviction: none comes close to Justin Frimpong Kodua in the combination of leadership experience, humility, accessibility, strategic understanding and knowledge of the NPP,” he stated.

Hon. Iddrisu said the NPP is currently at a critical stage that requires experienced and accessible leadership capable of reconnecting with the party’s grassroots.
He argued that the next General Secretary must not only understand the internal structures of the party but also have the capacity to mobilise members and coordinate the rebuilding process.
“At this critical moment, the NPP needs a General Secretary who understands the party, connects with its grassroots and has a clear, credible plan to lead the rebuilding process towards Victory 2028,” he said.
The Tolon MP therefore urged delegates to maintain Justin Frimpong Kodua in office, citing his experience and understanding of the party as important assets for the NPP’s next phase.
His comments add to the growing endorsements for Mr. Kodua as the NPP prepares for its upcoming national delegates conference, where delegates will elect national officers to steer the affairs of the party.
