Nkwanta SHS Teachers Support 50 Freshers with Chop boxes, Mattresses

Teachers of Nkwanta Senior High School (SHS) have donated 50 brand-new chop boxes and 50 student mattresses to support newly admitted senior high school students in the Nkwanta South Municipality.

The items were presented to the Nkwanta South Municipal Education Directorate to be distributed to 50 students transitioning to senior high school across the municipality.

The initiative is aimed at easing the financial pressure on families and helping beneficiaries begin their secondary education with essential items needed for their stay in school.

The donation forms part of efforts by the teachers to extend their support beyond classroom instruction and contribute to the welfare and educational development of students within the municipality.

Officials of the Nkwanta South Municipal Education Directorate commended the teachers for the gesture, describing it as an example of commitment to the welfare and future of learners.

The Directorate expressed appreciation to the staff of Nkwanta SHS for supporting families at a critical stage in their children’s educational journey.

The teachers’ gesture is expected to provide immediate relief to the 50 beneficiaries and help them settle into their respective senior high schools.
