The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, on the ticket of the NPP, Kennedy Agyapong has retained his seat after the collation of the 2020 election.
He will be serving his sixth term as an MP.
At the end of the election, certified parliamentary results indicated that the NPP had 19, 754 votes while his opponent had 14,747 votes.
For the Presidential results, the NPP pulled 21,159 whiles the NDC had 12,650 votes.
