The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Abuakwa North Constituency, Alhaji Umar Bodinga has stated that his outfit is set to deliver about 500 desks to Junior High Schools in his municipality.

According to him, the challenges facing the Municipality were roads and secondly educational infrastructure.

However, he said currently, the Municipal Assembly is addressing the educational challenges.

Speaking on Atinka TV‘s current affairs show, “The Agenda” with Nana Yaw Fianko, Alhaji Umar Bodinga said there are no more schools under trees but schools with dilapidated buildings.

He said there was no basic school from primary one to six in the Municipality that will say they do not have desks since he assumed office.

The MCE stated that already, he has provided most of the schools with dual desks.

He assured that next week, he will provide about 500 desks to the Junior High schools, adding that he has urged the Regional Education Director to get the names of the schools that do not have desks.
