Akufo-Addo delivers SONA today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will later today  deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament

Later today, in Parliament, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA).

This is in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, which mandates the President to deliver a message on the State of the Nation to Parliament at the start of each session and before the dissolution of Parliament. 

By way of the SONA, the President is able to present a comprehensive outline of the present condition of the country.

Education, the SONA, the impending 2024 elections, peace and security, infrastructure, and the economic recovery program are among the many facets of the economy that are anticipated to be addressed.
