President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will take a week’s leave beginning Saturday 13th, November, 2021.

The President will take his leave after leading the Ghanaian delegation to mark the UNESCO 75th Anniversary ceremony at its headquarters in Paris-France.

 This was announced by the Director of Communications at the Presidency Eugene Arhin in a short press briefing at the Jubilee house.

“The President will on Friday 12th November be delivering a statement on the impact UNESCO has had in Ghana and what Ghana expects from UNESCO in the coming years” he added.

The President as part of his leave will be presiding over the panel adjudicating a debate in the French Parliament on the trial of progress on the 19th November,2021.

Mr. Eugene Arhin indicated that, President is expected back in Ghana on Saturday, 20th November,2021.

In his absence, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in accordance with Article 60(8) of the Constitution, act in his stead.
