Lawyers for NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Andy Appiah Kubi have urged Ghanaians to pray for him as he undergoes multiple criminal trials at the Accra High Court.
He claims that as the legal team continues its defence, the strain of managing multiple concurrent trials has made public support and prayers essential.
Speaking on the matter, Andy Appiah-Kubi indicated that his legal team remains committed to defending the cases despite the challenges involved.
“The only thing is that we need prayers. We are working hard for three cases. This Exim Bank case has been adjourned for a month for the prosecution to prepare the document so that we can rely on the document in the prosecution. So we are fine, except that prayers are necessary,” he stated.
The case involving the Exim Bank matter has reportedly been adjourned to allow the prosecution additional time to prepare documents required for the proceedings.
Mr. Appiah-Kubi and his lawyers maintain that they remain focused on the legal process as the trials continue at the Accra High Court.
