Anomabo: New Omankradohemaa to improve education

The newly installed Omankradohemaa of Anomabo Traditional Area, Nana Bruba III, has promised to team up with the queen mothers of the area to improve the education of children.

Nana Bruba III said this when she was enstooled  as Omankradohemaa of Anomabo Traditional Area over the weekend.

Speaking to the media after her enstoolment as Omankradohemaa of Anomabo Traditional Area, Nana Bruba III said, the major occupation in Anomabo is fishing which in one way or the other has affected the education of some children of the area.

She appealed to the people of Anomabo Traditional Area to come together to ensure development in the area.

Nana Bruba III also asked parents to do all they can to train children in all aspects of their lives so that they do not go wayward.

The Omanhene of  Lower Axim Traditional Area, Awulae Attibrukusu III, who was the special guest, asked the people of  Anomabo to support the Omankradohemaa to implement her vision to bring improvement in the area.

Dr. Kwegyir Aggrey’s famous saying that “If you educate a man, you’ve educated an individual, but if you educate a girl, you’ve educated an entire nation” was also mentioned by the respected paramount chief.

According to him, education is the only asset that cannot be taken from its proprietor.

Nana Mbroba Dabo I, the paramount queen mother of Anomabo Traditional Area, used the occasion to urge the government to complete the Anomabo Fisheries College to enhance the work of the region’s fishermen.
